One thing that came out of this year’s CES 2011 is the rise of Motorola. The mobility giant not only replied strongly to its critics, who said the rein over mobile phone market was all but over , they also grabbed two of the biggest prizes on offer along the way. Motorola got the best gadget of the year award for its tablet Motorola Xoom and it got the best Smart phone of the year award for the Motorola Atrix 4G. Can Motorola “XOOM” its way to the Top of the Tablet market?

Another year has started with all the big boys of technology coming together for the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES). This event really gives a great launch pad for all the technology giants to showcase there best stuff for the coming year. Apple made the most of it last year with their advertising of the Apple’s iPad last year. Microsoft raved about its Windows 7 and both of them had a very successful year. This time though the eyes were on the Mobile phone space, to be more specific the Smartphone and the tablet market. Microsoft came with Windows Mobile 7; Google had Android Gingerbread, Samsung showed off its latest range of the touch screen revolution and many more. But, the cake and cherry was taken away by the hardworking guys at Motorola who came up with the next-gen Android 3.0 Honeycomb based PC tablet, The Motorola XOOM.

Samsung introduces the new Android Gingerbread 2.3 in the “Samsung Google nexus S”

Samsung has came out with Google’s newest creation in the growing Android line of software, the Android Gingerbread 2.3, which forms the heart and soul of the Samsung Nexus S. The Nexus S is believed to be the upgraded version of the Galaxy S Smartphone working on the Android 2.2 technology.

The question that everybody had was whether the new android would have huge changes from the android 2.2 and the answer is a big no. Early reviews of the phone show only a slight variation in the design of the interface, and with few specifications added from the Galaxy S series, we believe that Google wants to save the major changes for the launch of the Google Android 3.0. Android 2.3 revealed its Nexus One owners

With the release of the Nexus S, Google have finally announced Android 2.3, or else recognized as Gingerbread.

Google unmasked their long-anticipated OS, they have lastly exposed its full list of features. Describing the platform as “the best edition of Android yet”, Google announced that Gingerbread would offer a sophisticated user interface, better power management, a restore music player, a speedier onscreen keypad, better copy and paste, gyroscope sensor support, enhanced graphic support.
